Experts Share thyssenkrupp Elevator Test Tower’s Journey to the Top at March Cumberland Area Council

Two experts from the thyssenkrupp Elevator Test Tower project will deliver a presentation entitled, “The Journey to the Top” at the March 11th Cumberland Area Council event at the Boy Scouts of America/Atlanta Area Council.

Ben Norton, Vice President/Division Manager with Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC, will share about the construction firm’s role in the project and that will serve as the future home of the tallest elevator test tower in the Western hemisphere. Steve Wedge, Chief Financial Officer with the thyssenkrupp Elevator Corporation, will speak about the function of the test tower and thyssenkrupp’s new three-building North American headquarters.

Registration for Cumberland Area Council is open and available at www.cobbchamber.org/events. Registration for limited in-person seating will close on Tuesday, March 9—or once maximum capacity is reached. Walk-up admissions and payment cannot be granted. Attendees will be asked to wear masks during event check-in and while moving through the event space. Temperature checks will be conducted as attendees enter the facility.

To attend virtually, attendees should register for the event by 5 p.m. on March 9, selecting the virtual attendance option.
