Rob Lynch, President and CEO of Papa John’s International, Inc., will join the Cobb Chamber and the Cobb County business community for the January Marquee Monday Presented by Superior Plumbing at the Coca-Cola Roxy on Jan. 11, 2021. Lynch is the first keynote speaker for the 2021 monthly event series, discussing Papa John’s amazing accomplishments of 2020 and hopes for the year ahead.
Lynch was appointed President and CEO in August 2019 and in that short amount of time, has taken the company to new heights by continuing its record growth streak during the coronavirus pandemic. Due to Lynch’s e-commerce platform innovation over the last few months, Papa John’s has added 3 million new customers and has seen sales increase by 33.5 percent.
In November 2020, Papa John’s announced the decision to move its headquarters to Cobb County, located within The Battery Atlanta.
Lynch has also focused on menu innovations, by introducing many new items including the new Shaq-A-Roni pizza, which raises funds for COVID-19 relief and racial injustice.
The January Marquee Monday Presented by Superior Plumbing program will highlight the Cobb Chamber’s efforts to support the 2020-2021 Cobb County School District and Marietta City Schools Teachers of the Year.
Doors open at the Coca-Cola Roxy at 11:15 a.m., with the program starting at 11:45 a.m. Limited in-person attendance is available until Jan. 6. Virtual registration is open until the day of, at no cost for Chamber members and $5 for general admission. Walk-up admissions and at-door payment cannot be granted.
To help provide a safe and smooth entry to our event, in-person attendees can opt to use SymTem, an all-in-one COVID-19 screening tool created by InfoMart. In advance of the event, in-person attendees will receive an email prompting them to take a virtual health screening through the SymTem app. Once the screening is complete and the attendee is deemed symptom free and safe to attend this event, they receive a digital badge to show Chamber staff upon arrival.
