Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian will join the Cobb Chamber and the Cobb County business community for the inaugural Marquee Monday event at the Coca-Cola Roxy on Jan. 13, 2020.
Lauded as one of Atlanta’s most admired CEOs, Bastian leads a team of over 80,000 global professionals at Delta Air Lines. A 20-year Delta veteran, Bastian has been a critical leader in the airline’s long-term strategy and a champion for incorporating Delta’s shared values of honesty, integrity, respect, perseverance and servant leadership into the organization’s daily actions.
Since being named Delta’s CEO in May 2016, Bastian has expanded Delta’s leading position as the world’s most reliable airline while growing its global footprint and enhancing the customer experience in the air and on the ground. In 2018, Bastian received the highest honor an individual can receive from the state of Georgia: He was inducted into the Georgia Trustees by former governor Nathan Deal and the Georgia Historical Society. Bastian was also honored by Fortune magazine when he was featured on its annual World’s 50 Greatest Leaders list. In 2021, Bastian will serve as Chairman for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to the keynote presentation, Marquee Monday will salute the 2019 and 2020 classes of the Honorary Commanders Association, a program at the heart of the Chamber's support of the county’s military community.
Doors open at the Coca-Cola Roxy at 7 a.m., with the program starting at 8 a.m. Registration is now open, and tickets are $35 for Chamber members and $60 for general admission. Parking is available at the Red Deck at the Battery Atlanta, and is free for up to four hours. A brief security check is required as attendees enter the Coca-Cola Roxy.
