Cobb Chamber Unveils New Logo & Brand Identity

This morning the Cobb Chamber revealed its new brand identity system and logo at its monthly member breakfast meeting. In April, the Chamber and its Rebrand Project Team enlisted branding firm Matchstic to lead an intentional process to develop a new brand strategy. The rebrand project was led by Tammy Palmgren, Vice Chair of Marketing and Communications for the Cobb Chamber. The Rebrand Project Team included Mitch Rhoden, the 2019 Cobb Chamber Chairman; John Loud, 2020 Chairman; Britt Fleck, 2021 Chairwoman; Lee Johnson and Cherelle Cortez, Chairs of the Diversity & Inclusion Council; Sharon Mason, President and CEO of the Cobb Chamber; and the Chamber’s Senior Leadership Team and Marketing Department.

The new logo features a bold symbol that tells an important story. The symbol is a capital C that also calls to mind a round table with an open seat, inviting member collaboration and input.

“At the Cobb Chamber, we strive to be as inviting as possible, encouraging our members to bring their unique voices to our organization,” said Sharon Mason. “To have our logo tell that story is exciting and shares our unique role in Cobb’s business community.”

Through its rebranding process, the Chamber defined its audiences, core purpose and brand position. It was determined that the Chamber supports initiative by removing impediments, forging connections, and creating the conditions for healthy commerce. With Cobb County as a central hub for talent and business success, the Chamber works to empower and equip professionals who are seeking more.

“The focus of our work is our members, their successes, and their stories,” said Mitch Rhoden, 2019 Cobb Chamber Chairman. “Our new brand celebrates our members and their work to make Cobb County an exceptional place to live, grow a business, and pursue your goals.”

Over the coming days and months, the Chamber will execute the new brand across all major communication touchpoints, from emails and business cards to the website and social media platforms. When the Chamber opens its new location at 1100 Circle 75, the new space will proudly display the new logo and brand.
