Join us as CEW partners with MUST Ministries for their reimagined Summer Lunch program. This summer, MUST Ministries will continue the time-honored tradition of partnering with churches, schools, corporations and volunteers to feed thousands of kids in the metro-Atlanta area all summer. MUST's goal is to provide breakfast and lunch to at least 6000 children for 9 weeks. An estimated 540,000 meals will be distributed across six counties (Cobb, Cherokee, Douglas, Fulton, Paulding, Gwinnett). In addition to food, MUST will also have a "weekly wellness focus" such as dental health, hygiene, physical education, books, etc.

CEW will need volunteers on-site of the Tillman House and Green Acres Elementary School to help distribute food to the families. We will also have another group of volunteers assembling hygiene kits that will be distributed with the meals. Following the volunteer service, attendees will meet back at the Tillman House for lunch and remarks from Dr. Dwight "Ike" Reighard, President & CEO of MUST Ministries.

As part of the Summer Lunch project, each week MUST will have a special focus on health and wellness or academic success. As part of our community outreach event, we will be collecting donation items for hygiene kits. You are welcome to bring the donations with you or have them shipped directly to the Tillman House (940 Concord Rd SE, Smyrna, GA 30080).

Travel Size Items Needed: Soap, shampoo/conditioner, comb or brush, and 1 gallon Ziploc bags

Registration deadline is Thursday, June 17.

CEW Membership Requirements:

COBB EXECUTIVE WOMEN is dedicated to cultivating mutually beneficial and supportive professional relationships among executive women in Cobb County.

Individual or employer must be a Cobb Chamber member.
Must meet the following criteria: business owner (applicant must be registered with the Secretary of State and have a valid business license), executive management (must manage a budget and/or a team), professional occupation (e.g. medical or legal; a licensed professional as determined and verified by the Professional Standards Board Division in the state of Georgia), elected or appointed official.
Must be sponsored by a current CEW member as indicated on the required application and approved by the Steering Committee.
Potential members are invited to attend no more than two meetings.
