Holly Tuchman of liveSAFE Resources is the 2018 Woman of Distinction

Cobb Executive Women (CEW) presented its 2018 Woman of Distinction Award to Holly Tuchman, CEO and Executive Director of liveSAFE Resources. The Woman of Distinction Award recognizes a woman who has demonstrated exceptional leadership through her professional endeavors, community involvement, thereby supporting and advancing her community and respective fields. The award was presented at the Cobb Chamber’s May First Monday Breakfast event, sponsored by S.A. White Oil Company, Inc.

Holly Tuchman has served as the CEO and Executive Director of liveSAFE Resources since 2007. She has over 25 years of experience in both for the profit and not for profit arenas.  She has led the efforts to streamline the programs and services of liveSAFE Resources in her 11-year tenure, allowing the organization to focus solely on serving victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as successfully undertaking a $7.2M capital campaign to renovate the organization's facilities and a complete renaming of the organization so it can better achieve its goals. Tuchman announced her retirement from liveSAFE Resources earlier this year.

As a Cobb County resident, Tuchman is actively involved in her local community, serving numerous civic organizations and community-based efforts in the following capacities: Chair for Georgia Commission on Family Violence, Board Co-Chair at Cobb Continuum of Care, past President of Marietta Kiwanis, Co-Chair of SPLOST 2005, past President of Leadership Cobb Alumni Association, past Chairwoman of Cobb Executive Women, Co-Chair of Cobb Youth Leadership, and past president of Marietta Civitan Club.

Tuchman was recognized as “One of 75 Outstanding Women of Cobb” from Junior League in 2008 and received the Chairman’s Award from the Cobb Chamber in 2005. Tuchman received the Mary Aven Award from Cobb County Republican Women in 2005 and received the President’s Award and Civitan of the Year Award from Marietta Civitan in 1992.

Tuchman’s passion for supporting non-profits and the causes she is most passionate about has been demonstrated through her service as: Executive Director for the March of Dimes, Chief Development Officer for Cobb Family Resources and her work at liveSAFE Resources. Service is a banner that Tuchman has carried throughout her professional career. “Holly exemplifies servant leadership and has demonstrated transformational change as a leader,” said Cobb Executive Women Chair, Kelly Wilson.
